Over the years I have told my dear husband, well.... many lies. The best part about that is that he doesn't know it. He practically believes just about everything I tell him. After all, why would a woman lie to her husband.
Well, there are many reasons. Know I'm not talking about hurtful, deceitful, painful lies. No! I'm talking about little white lies. The kind that most of you women reading this have also told your husbands. Oh, don't tell me that you are one of those perfect wives who have never told even a tiny little lie..... yeah right! Any way, here is one of the biggest lies that I have told my husband
"You were my first"
Do you think he believed that one? Keep in mind that I had kids when we met.
* Another lie:
"You are the best lover I ever had"
I do love him best of all so.... this may not be that big of a lie.
* Here is a hard lie to tell:
"You are the biggest I ever had"
Well, that one might actually be true. He is a black man... I'm just saying. When I go back and compare notes and pictures (yes, I have pictures. Don't you?) it's kind of hard to determine in one or two cases. Not that I had a lot to compare him with.
* Another lie:
"I love your mother"
I don't call her, I don't visit, I don't buy her gift on her birthday, Mother's day or Christmas, I avoid all contact but I love her.... really.
"I love your kids"
What I really love is the fact that they don't live with us.
"I absolutely love the present you bought me"
I will love it more when I take it back and get what I really want.
*Dangerous lie:
"I would never think of your best friend in that way"
I mean... Your friend is handsome, sexy, tall, and muscular. Not to mention I was initially attracted to him instead of you, but you know, why would I think of him in that way. I love you.
* Get out of sex free lie:
"My stomach hurt"
"My head hurt"
"I tired, rough day at work"
" I got my period" with this lie sometimes it takes some convincing. For instance, a few times I had to put hot sauce on a tampon (ketchup doesn't absorb as well on the tampon) and plant it in the trash in plain view, then insert one just for effects so that he would adhere to the red light. I know, a little extreme but it works. You're telling me you've never done that.
*Another lie:
"Oh I don't mind kissing you before you brush away your morning breathe"
OMG... some lies can kill you. A man's morning breathe aint no joke especially depending on what he did the night before.
*The usual lie:
"Yes, I already came"
I really didn't but it would be too much work to get him going again so I just... lie.
*More lies:
"Sex last night was great"
Even though I didn't come nor did we cuddle after nor did you stay awake long enough to listen to what I had to say. So... yeah it was great
"I don't mind you having female friends"
Just as long as he has a penis hanging between his legs that is not attached to you.
"I don't have any money"
Except the couple hundreds I have stashed in a secret bank account that you don't know about.
* Lies without purpose
"I forgot"
I forgot to pay the electric bill. I couldn't pass up buying the shoes I have hidden in the closet, that I bought with the electric bill money.
I forgot you said you were coming home early. I got so busy on facebook that I didn't get a chance to cook dinner.
I forgot to buy groceries. My girl friends and I went out to lunch and I spent the grocery money on...lunch.
I forgot to pay the car insurance. That's why you got a ticket and the car got towed. Sorry.
I forgot you said you wanted to make love. I would never have pretended to fall asleep on the couche reading the bible.
I know what you're thinking. Does she ever tell him the truth? The answer is YES. I always tell him how much I love him. I always tell him how much I appreciate him. I always tell him how much I need him. These things are all TRUE. You have to love a man who would put up with someone like me. The only reason I lie to him is because... I love him. Honest...I do.
Leave me a comment about some of the lies you tell your husband or your man.
This blog focuses on inspirational thoughts, words of encouragement, motivation techniques, positive thinking, poetry, fun topics, interesting short stories and a lot of love.

Why Say I Do?
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUsuqh9zh8HE1G4tNPr_hMjU_ahUoJ60GOSF-fUw0Jvv9HpvXAYOP1FLVHoV-r71TuPCwW0XJMRoUETWQBfjXedzu-J3PLLYxvzi_EMpF3DurW0fI8Dc3gB30lVpJ9Ngjy2GB4bPOdE3J2/s320/ring.png)
I believe that there is only one valid reason why anyone should say "I Do".
It is the only reason that truely makes any sense and is the one true reason any marital relationship will have any chance of lasting.
People marry for money, because of lonliness, social statis, to escape from someone or something, pregnancy, to be happy or even to prove a point. All of these are the wrong reasons to say
"I Do". These are the things that lead to the 4 What the F... in marriage.
1. Finance
2. Fighting
3. Fear
4. Fidelity
When you say "I Do" for the right reasons things like commitment, partnership, trust, loyalty, fidelity, fear, and finance are not the focus and can be overcome. Marriage is somewhat of a business because it is a partnership. It is where two parties enter into an agreement to love, honor, respect and protect one another till death we part. But all to often this partnership is built under false pretense which leads to a broken covenant.
The only way to avoid all the don't in a marriage is to enter into it for the best reason.
Say I Do because you want a lifetime companion, security, to build a family, the desire to share your life with another, because you are willing to forfill the needs and dreams of another.
Say I Do for the best possible reason,
because you are in Love.
click on this link for a show on this topic:
I married soley for loves sake and I'd do it all over again. It was truely the best reason.

Sindie Sensual
Sindie Sensual
Sindie had it all; a great body, great
car, nice apartment, lots of friends and men with money. Sindie had no problem
getting what she wanted even if it belonged to someone else. Sindie had
exquisite taste. It was nothing but the best for her. Now keep in mind that
this is all according to Sindie. Her life was perfect and she always made time
to tell check others. If you did something or said something, you can bet that
Sindie was gonna put you in your place. Her favorite saying was “I am a
brunette not a blond” meaning I’m smarter than you so I have the right to tell
you what I think. But to everyone else Sindie was a dense brunette with blond
tendencies. Sindie kept a very healthy supply of men around. They would leave
money in envelops on her door step, floral arrangements on her car, she had a
breakfast date almost every day of the week and offers for dinner most nights. Sindie
had it all. She was envied by most and liked by few. Sindie never really
understood why women always hated on her. Maybe they were just jealous of her
beauty. After all she turned heads everywhere she went. She had a killer smile
and always gave polite, warm and inviting conversation. Some man was always
making it rain one hundred dollar bills on Sindie.
These men who were always so attracted
to Sindie were mostly married men, which is one of the reasons why women were
always hating on Sindie. She was sleeping with their husbands. When asked about
it Sindie would just say “well his wife must not have been doing her job or he
would not have to come to me”. “Married women get comfortable and begin to let
themself go so their man loose interests, so when he sees someone as beautiful
and well put together as I am he can’t help himself, so don’t be mad at me for
doing what you can’t”. The single men who sought after Sindie were the ones who
had heard about her and wanted to see what the talk was about. These were the
hit it and quit it brothas.
Little did they know, that each time
Sindie lured one of them into her bed she had a hidden agenda. Sindie would meet
a guy today and an hour later she would invite him into her bed. Sindie didn’t want to be alone. Deep down
inside she was trying to fill an empty space; she was trying to fix an old
wound. By sleeping with married men she hoped to experience just a taste of
what it felt like to belong to someone. Each time she was with a married man
she would pretend that she was his wife though the men never knew. It was hard
for her to build a relationship with single men because they didn’t take her
serious, for them she was just sex. For married men she was just the pretty
little thing on the side. No one really wanted her. She was a pretty whore.
So, time and time again Sindie was
left alone in her bed licking another wound that was now being self-inflicted. Her tragedy began when she was rapped as a
teenager by a family member. She learned to hide her pain because no one
believed her. When she tried to get help from the person she trusted most, but her
mother turned her back and blamed it on Sindie. A part of her died. She lost
faith in love and family and God. Because she was such a beautiful girl men
were always attracted to her, unfortunately they were filled with lustful
spirits and Sindie had to endure being raped as a child several times by more
than one person. Now her beauty has become a curse. Her predators were the men
in her mother’s life which made her mother resent her beauty so much that she
failed to protect her own daughter.
Sindie grew up trying to cover her
scars by attempting to fill it with the same thing that caused it – lust. It
was all she knew. Women envied Sindie, girls wanted to be like her when they
say all that she had, but they never knew the Sindie behind the beautiful
smile. They never saw all the tears she cried or knew of the pain she felt
every day of her life, the loneliness, the betrayal. You see Sindie perfected
wearing a mask. She was a great deceiver. She was already dead so sin meant
nothing to her. She made a pact with the devil to lure as many men into sin as
she could so that they would surely die to pay back the ones who hurt her and
God for letting them.
Her name was Sindie (S-I-N-D-I-E).
Sindie’s greatest wish for man was for them to sin and die.

Releasing
I am not ashame to say "I HATE MY JOB". I hate the way I feel when I go there. This job puts me in a bad head space and when I am there I feel so full of negative energy. Now, mind you, I do understand that it is possibly my way of thinking that causes me to feel this way. I try my very best to think positive so that I will begin to feel positive but often times it does not work. There is always some one or something waiting to set me off. I pray alot about my situation and I know that God will work it out. See, sometimes we are put in places to be taught or prepared for something else, so we have to learn to endure till better days. The only thing that keeps me going sometimes is my faith and my belief that God has something better for me and that this is my season to be tested. I am holding on to Gods unchanging hands and holding on to his promise that " If I seek him first all things will be added unto me". I have to remind myself that this job is not who I am it is just a step to getting where I want to be. One day when I look back over my life I'm sure that I will be thankful for the experience.
Employee today...Employer tommorrow.
All things are possible thru Christ who strengthens me.

A renewed mind
The key to making any change in your life is to start with the renewing of your mind. Old things must pass away and be laid to rest. When you want to change course or get on a different path, your way of thinking must line up according with where you want to go. Change your way of thinking. Let your mind be renewed and watch how much better your life will be. Come from under darkness and walk in light.

I don't know which way to go
or which way to turn
Every angle, every choice seems wrong
So... here I sit
Waiting, contemplating, excepting defeat
Wallowing in self pity
while raindrops do fall on my head
When the clouds move over, there is sunshineI felt the rain, I can see the sunshine
There are no windows, or doors, nor is there a roofThe only way out... is up
No longer will I sit
I will climb to higher heights
God always makes a way out of no way

A long night
I am on my PC pretending to write something important because I'm waiting for my husband to fall asleep. I know that he's in the mood and I'm just not. I'm so sleepy but I can't go to bed until he's completely out or I'll have to pretend that my belly hurts or something. I'm supposed to be all about inspiration and motivation--well where the heck is my motivation now. Well I guess I should pray that he's asleep by time I go in. Time for some positive thoughts. When it emerges itself from beyond the darkness of the covers and I catch a glimpse of it by the flicker of light from the television. There it sit statuese and strong longing to be held and caressed. Wanting to explore the part of me that only he was created to explore. I am drawn to it like a moth to a flame. My body suddenly giddy with excitement. I long to be near it. I imagine the gratification from penetration. The warm sensation and jubilation when my body spill forth...
Oh Hell I'm going in. That's enough motivation for me. Hope he's ready for this.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE GIVING UP?
Don't
Follow God's Plan
Pray without ceasing
Keep stepping forward. Soon you will find yourself right where you need to be.
Life at different intervals can be somewhat complicated. Just don't give up!

MY PLEDGE - Video poem by Loretta from the book Love Letters
This poem is a great expression of love between two poeple who are devoted and committed to each other.
I wrote this poem to my husband. It was our wedding march song. The images are of my son, who is working on his music career, and his fiance.
Continue to Love because God is Love.

KEYS TO SUCCESS
There are many formulas for or keys to success. However, the formula often times depends on the area in which you are attempting to become successful.
How is success measured?
Success is measured on different levels by different people or groups.
What is success?
Success is the achievement of something desired, planned or attempted. It is also the favorable outcome of something attempted.
What are the keys to success?
*Positive Thinking
*Faith
*Drive
*Determination
*Setting Goals
*Follow Through
These six keys to success work in every aspect of success building. To be successful in anything you must first get your thought process in order. Positive thinking encourages positive results. Thought is any mental or intellectual activity involving an individual's subjective consciousness. It can refer to the act of thinking or the resulting ideas or arrangement of ideas. Next you must have faith in yourself and believe in your capabilities. Faith is a strong unshaken belief in something, belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of someone or something. Limit beliefs that might cause one to sabotage one's efforts. To be successful you must be driven. Drive is to supply the motive force or power to and cause action, and to carry through vigorously. You must also be determined. Determination is a fixed movement or tendency toward an object or end. Determination means that the decision has been reached to be successful. Another important key for success is setting goals.A goal is a desired result. Setting goals is like your blue prints to success. Lastly and most importantly you must follow through. You will never reach any goal if you fail to follow through.

PRAY FOR OUR CHILDREN
Today we need to pray for our children. Not just our children but for our family's children, our friend's children, our neighbors children, children in the schools, children on the streets and children all over the world. Our children are under attack by the enemy and we are standing by and watching as he steals, kills and destroys them. Why are we just standing by? Why aren't we fighting for our children?
Now is the time to do something. The most effective thing that we can all do is P-R-A-Y for these babies. They need us to intercede for them. They need it right now! We need to pray that the word is a lamp unto their feet, and a light unto their path (psalm 119:105). You see... the enemy is seeking whom he will devour (1peter 5:8), and he has his sights set on our children.
There is Power in Prayer.
POWER
REST
AMONG
YOU
The bible says that the prayers of the righteous avails much, so will the righteous among us fall on your faces in unified prayer for God's saving grace? Call these children by name and lift them up into the presence of God. Pray for his healing power, his grace, and his mercy upon their heads. Pray that these children be shielded and protected. Pray for his everlasting arms to be wrapped all around them. Pray for our savior to rock them in his busem. Pray that their steps be ordered through his word. Pray that fire will rain down from heaven filling each and everyone of our children with the Holy Spirit. Pray for their salvation. Pray that they will except Christ as their personal Savior. Pray for repentance.
Jesus said I come so that you might have life(John 10:10).
I come today to ask that we come together in prayer so that our children's lives might be saved. I believe that through our prayers, our children can be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season: his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he do shall prosper (psalm 1:3). Once our children are covered thru prayer, when the enemy attacks we can rest assure that they will not be moved.
Jesus said, "Suffer the little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven"(Mathew 19:14).
I want my children to be saved. I am on my knees right now.
Will you join me?
Our children need us.

HAVE YOU EVER
Have you ever wondered why things happen the way that they do? Have you ever wondered why bad things always happen to you? Have you ever wondered why no matter how hard you try things don't seem to go your way? Have you ever dreaded having to face another day? Have you ever prayed and prayed for a break thru but felt more broken down? Have you ever felt like your life has never been more turned around? Have you ever looked in the mirror and not like what you see? Have you ever said to yourself this just can't be me? Have you ever laughed so hard that you made yourself cry? Have you ever had someone kiss the tears from your eye? Have you ever had someone to hold you and absorb every bit of your distress? Has your heart ever carried the weight of a sin that you wanted to confess? Have you ever craved an apple but had to settle for a peach? Have you ever felt like you were caught up in a world wind, just spinning round and round? Have you ever prayed that your feet be planted on solid ground? Have you ever gazed up at the sky and ask the question why?
Have you ever truely prayed with a sincere heart and waited for God's reply?

JUST THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW!
Do you agree with this statement? "Having a piece of man is better than having no man at all".
Well, personally I think that it is one of the biggest lies ever told. I think that having a piece of anything is not worth much. Now let's evaluate this. What does this statement really mean? What type of individual would agree with this statement? What does this statement mean to you?
Let's entertain the idea that having a piece of something is better than nothing at all.
Now, maybe having "a piece of a job" is better than having no job at all. A piece of a job pays you a piece of a check that will pay part of your bills. The piece of job will buy you a piece of bread, a piece of bologna, a cup of rice and a can of pork and beans. That piece of job has just provided you with some necessities, but for those of us with a piece of a man, he'll probably be waiting for you to cash that piece of check so he can get a piece. He will more than likely eat all your pork and beans and rice, then the balogna leaving you with nothing for lunch the next day when you go on your piece of job. In some cases a piece of job is ok.
"Having a piece of a dollar bill is better than no dollar at all". Well, here is where it gets tricky. If you take a piece of a dollar to a store to purchase something you may find that the cashier may not be willing to accept it. She may ask you, where is the rest of it? A piece of a dollar bill is no good without the other piece because you need both pieces to spend it. The same rule should apply to men. You should only hold on to him if you benefit from it. Before settling or sharing my home or bed with a pieceof a man I'd rather sit in a corner with a piece of lint. If I collect enough pieces I can make a blanket to keep myself warm.
The sad part of this is that we have mothers who are teaching their daughters to buy into this misconception of truth. We are therefore, spreading this falsehood throughout the generations of impressionable young women. How do we expect our daughters to know better when we dont do better in front of them? Having Johnny come over to sit on the couch, throw his feet up on the coffee table and suck down a few beers as he flips thru the cable channels that you struggle to pay for is not a good example to set. Allowing your daughters to see Tom, Dick and Harry stroll down the hallway with a smirk on his face after leaving your bedroom is not a good look. Telling your daughter "it's my life and I can do what I want" doesnt help her to respect you. Letting your children witness a man putting his hands on you is not a good look. To tell yourself that "I dont want to be alone" is silly. You should know that if you have God in your life you are never alone and he promises to supply all your needs and he also promises to give you the desires of your heart.
How awesome is that!
A piece of a man don't promise you anything but you can be sure of a few things: he will use you, he will abuse you, he will take as much as he can from you and give you a little sex in return, and finally he will leave you for the next thing smoking.
Here's a little advice
1. Save your years
2. Save yours tears
3. Know your worth
4. Set standards for your life
5. Don't be afraid to live by those standards
"Having a piece of man is better than having no man at all" screams to me ...settling, low self-esteem, lack of faith and displaced values. I believe that when women don't know their worth they tend to settle for anything. Women are one of God's greatest creations. The entire world and all generations were birthed from our womb. Women are a treasure, something of great value. Women are great queens and should be treated as such. If no one else knows your worth you should know for yourself. No one can tell you who you are if you already know who you are and are confident about your identity and self-worth. Stop putting stock in fruitless things like tired men. Have a little faith in yourself and a lot of faith in our creator. God does not make mistakes so it was no mistake when he made you a woman. Remember that beside every great man is an even greater woman. Women it is time to walk in the light of what God has created us to be. Let's walk in GREATNESS.
